1. Purpose

This Account Deletion Policy outlines the procedures for deleting user accounts on the InOut App loyalty platform, ensuring a clear, transparent, and secure process for both customers and businesses.

2. Scope

This policy applies to:

  • Customer users of the mobile application
  • Business users of the web management panel

3. Account Deletion Methods

3.1 Customer Account Deletion

Customers can delete their account through the following methods:

3.1.1 In-App Deletion (Instant)

  • Navigate to Account Settings in the mobile app.
  • Select the "Delete Account" option.
  • Follow the on-screen confirmation process.
  • This process is automated and immediate.

3.1.2 Email Request

  • Send an account deletion request to support@inoutapp.io.
  • Include your registered email address and username.
  • Manual requests will be processed within 5-7 business days.

3.2 Business Account Deletion

Business users can delete their account via:

  • Web Panel: Navigate to Settings > Delete Account and complete the verification process.
  • Email Request: Contact support@inoutapp.io with your Business Name and primary contact details.

4. Data Handling During Account Deletion

4.1 Customer Data

Upon account deletion:

  • Personal Information: Anonymized or permanently removed.
  • Loyalty Points & Rewards: Immediately forfeited and cannot be recovered.
  • Transaction History: Retained strictly for legal, tax, and accounting purposes as required by law.

4.2 Business Data

Upon account deletion, active loyalty programs will be terminated. Historical transaction data may be archived for legal compliance.

5. Verification & Delays

Account deletion is usually immediate, but may be delayed if:

  • There are pending transactions or unresolved disputes.
  • There are outstanding financial obligations (for Business users).
  • We suspect the request is fraudulent (we may ask for identity verification).

6. Post-Deletion Considerations

6.1 Irreversibility

Deleted accounts cannot be recovered. If you wish to rejoin InOut App later, you must create a new account. Previous points and XP cannot be restored.

7. Data Export

Before deleting your account, you have the right to request a copy of your personal data (Right to Portability). Please request this via support@inoutapp.io before initiating deletion.

8. Legal Compliance

This deletion process is designed to comply with:

  • Qatar Financial Centre (QFC) Data Protection Regulations 2021 (Article 18)
  • General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
  • Apple App Store & Google Play Store User Data Guidelines
